Diary entry #6 - 29 January 2012
Dear diary,
It's been a rather exhausting day again. Probably the most tiresome Chinese New Year I've ever celebrated. Going everywhere and all, so many different places in a week, it'll kill my legs. No regrets though, every moment shall be cherished deeply and it was worth the energy. Last night, as I have mentioned, I went to my friend Bryan's house for a party. It was to celebrate the birthdays of 3 friends with 2 days gap in between, filled with also Chinese New Year spirit. Thus, there was a lot of gambling and drinking. I did not really gamble though, only lost one buck for the sake of gambling.
As I arrived, I stayed around Nicky, Alex and Hong. While the rest of Bryan's guests were gambling and drinking, we played poker cards for fun without having money involved. Later on, when my other friends Adeline, Eugene and Chee Meng arrived, I hungout with them. They didn't really eat there even though dinner was served. I, as hungry as ever went down and tasted the food cooked by the hands of Bryan's mom. The spaghetti caught my attention, and it tasted as good as it looks :D. As time passed, we got bored of playing cards and more people started drinking beer cans as it was getting late.

The bunch of us actually decided to stay over and crash Bryan's place for the night, but it was so sudden we did not bring any extra clothes. After a really long and tiring night full of noises from those drunkard boys, we were really glad it's morning disregarding most of us did not get to sleep peacefully. I did take a few sips of those expensive alcohol just to try it out and it did not taste good, it's too strong for me. Those who got drunk were behaving notoriously and doing silly stuff. Dear readers, they were drinking under parental provision and all the alcohol in the house was meant for us guests, lol.

Thank goodness none of the bunch of us got into that and obviously did not get drunk, and I actually planned an 'open house' for my circle of friends right in the afternoon the next day. So when we woke up, Eugene, Adeline and I rushed back to my house, took a shower and rested while waiting for the others. We had a good time together eating lunch and playing games. Most importantly, I've even influenced them into playing Monopoly (cards version) and they got really into it. We had a real jolly good time despite having to crash a friend's place, and then travel here and there. School starts tomorrow and I am so not feeling like going to school. I am dead tired and I have not gotten a haircut. My hair is long :(. Anyway, I'm still considering whether to go to school or not. I'm about to leave to Kepong for dinner soon. See how much traveling I've done this week? I'm dead tired :(
