Diary entry #7 - 2 February 2012
Dear diary,
I'm feeling happy today. One of the reasons shall not be mentioned here, :P. January has come to an end, time passes very quickly when there are no worries holding us back, huh? It has been a good year, and the holiday season has not ended yet. There will be 2 more days of holidays next week, before it's time to really focus on studies. Yesterday was a holiday, and I slept soundly, waking up at 11 to get ready. I was embarrassed, because I couldn't even remember where my cousin's house was located. Partly because my parents hasn't been visiting them, and also because I am unfamiliar with housing areas in Sri Petaling. I took a cab in search for his house, and unfortunately the cab driver didn't know of the road he stays at. Guiding him with the directions my brother gave me that he had scribbled on a tiny paper earlier before, had finally led me to my cousin's house. Oh gracious, Jun Xiang was there. If I had known, I would've followed his mom's car xD.
Haha, so when I arrived they were playing the PS2. Later on the girls joined in and played football on the console. Leon's maid served us drinks and also the cake Abel's mom had bought, it was delicious! We moved on to playing poker cards, and I was winning every round as a normal player. The moment I became the dealer, I had lost triple the amount I've earned thus far. Bullies! :( haha it was fun though. Ian, Leon's younger brother joined us and won all our money! Hahahaha, poker faces. We headed out to Old Town Sri Petaling for lunch, and later on grabbed for drinks at ChaTime. Nothing much about that, just hanging out with mah friends.

When I headed home, I found out that my tenant wanted to bake brownies. Nowadays, it's baking fiesta in my house. We're always baking every now and then. Although we don't succeed most of the time but we have lots of fun haha. As we were not used to our new oven, it seems our oven bakes faster. So the brownies got a little burnt on the outer layer, but it tastes really good. The purpose of baking this time was for my sister. As the clock strikes 12, we sang the birthday song.

Happy 20th birthday sis (: you've been a blessing in our family. I'm sure God has an amazing plan for you and your life shall go according to His plans. Most of the time, when I could not rely on our eldest brother, you'll be there for me. I'm thankful that you're my sister and I love you (: sounds awkward right? If you're reading this you'd be laughing. Hahaha. Sometimes, you are like the joy that puts an end to the never ending arguments in the family that never come to a conclusion. You are like a flower that blossoms, and lights up the whole tree into a lively tree again. Truthfully, I'm happy to hear when you're coming back for semester breaks, although one sad fact would be you reclaiming your room and forcing me to move out! :p
On the following night, on her birthday, she went out with her friends. My dad took that opportunity to bake a cake. Singlehandedly, he baked the whole cake by himself without our help and it turned out successful! It was a plain cake without any fancy icing or cream, but it was delicious. #diaryedit: I have resumed writing this as it got really late last night. Today's a Friday and I went to school followed by 2 tuition classes. We had our class photo shoot today, and it was the first time in five years I got to sit on the chair haha. Obtw, awesome dinner just now, followed by the traditional Chinese New Year 'lousang' :D.
